The connection between Justin and Saxon mirrors another bond—between Justin and his own father, Jurgen. A master opal cutter in his own right, Jurgen laid the foundation that would become Black Opal Direct. Just like Saxon, Justin grew up immersed in the world of opals, learning not just the craft but the patience, instinct, and love that goes into each stone.
