Freshly back from Lightning Ridge visiting Saxon and our operation, this nobby was the very first piece I pulled from a brand new parcel. From the second it was in my hand, something felt different. A beautifully rounded shape, a red color bar running right through the centre, and a natural black cap sitting perfectly on the back. Almost ready to cut before I even touched the wheel.
Then the Gemfish flashlight confirmed everything. Clean bar. Bright color. A dark body tone that hinted at something truly special hiding inside. The kind of reading that makes your heart rate climb before you've even started grinding.
What I didn't fully expect was the dark kernel sitting right in the centre of the stone.
🎥 Watch the full cut now. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did cutting it.
