Fantastic video, I wear an opal pendant every day, but take it off for bathing swimming. I am not superstitious so don’t believe in luck. I would have definitely of loved an opal engagement ring if I was given one. I think opals are more beautiful than boring diamonds each one is unique.

I had a choice to make between a “clean” dark opal and one with a small inclusion. I bought the gem with the inclusion because the color was as magnificent as many much more expensive black opals . I struggled with buying a different opal but could not find one as pretty in the same price range. I understand small inclusions are common from Lightning Ridge but mine was the only one Black Opal Direct was selling. I am thrilled with my purchase, which will be a pendent , and don’t intend to sell it anyway. I think I made a great purchase and don’t regret it a bit !
