We are now accredited “Trusted Traders” – YAY! But the real question is – who trusts us and why is this accreditation important?
Customs agencies around the world monitor and clear all shipments – including ours. In the literally millions of packages cleared each day accredited companies are recognised as businesses with a secure supply chain and compliant trade practices.
This accreditation was difficult to obtain and in Australia we are proudly No. 189. We join the ranks of much larger organisations such as DHL, FedEx, Bunnings, Argyle Diamonds and Rio Tinto. Government officials have independently assessed and accredited our business against World Customs Organization standards.
There is a Trusted Trader Program in many nations and we have reciprocal rights and benefits. Countries included are Singapore, Hong Kong, China, Canada and soon to be the USA. Agreements are almost in place for Great Britain and the European Union.
