In todays video Justin shows us the results of the rough crystal opal which he sliced instead of polished. He decides to cut several pairs and the results are spectacular.
As you can see the difference between a cutter and a master cutter is knowing which way an opal will face best and how to bring out what many people call the “fire” or play of colour of an opal.
