Thank you to all in our community for making Christmas special for someone. A few weeks ago we brought you the story of Steiner Florian, a 14-year-old boy who has been opal cutting with sandpaper and leather.
The response was fantastic, and we received so many emails and comments of encouragement. One of our magnificent clients, Joe Barela, of Washington State in the US, kindly sent along some items for Florian to use. The package includes a loupe, scales, Ethiopian opal and other stones to practice on as well as some finished citrine and amethyst. To that, we have added the promised black opal on a dop stick – as well as some rough pieces to practise on.
Thanks to Joe for this wonderful and very generous gift. Steiner is very excited and can’t wait to receive it all. We will be shipping it out shortly via FedEx just in time for Christmas. Good luck and have fun, Steiner!

PRAISE GOD WOW !! This is WONDERFUL !!!
Another blessing. This is nice to hear. I can relate some. I wish i knew about this sooner. Need to follow you all more often on facebook. More involved. God bless
Wow!, I am sure glad Steiner, will be able to receive his gifts by Christmas. I think I am just as excited as he is. I am looking forward to seeing what the results are when he cuts and polishes the Ethiopian opal ruffs I sent for him, and the black opals from Justin. I am hoping he will be able to sell some of the finished items to fund more equipment for his future work.
I am thinking that when he is finished cutting the opals he can offer a few of them up for sale to this community, so we can share in his progress and efforts.
God bless all of Steiner’s supporters. God Bless Steiner and his family, and God Bless Justin and his family and business……JB
