Last week on Facebook, we mentioned this amazing piece we were going to do a carving opal video on.
Here is the video showing Justin taking you through the step by step of carving opal with a dremel. So if you’ve ever wanted to try carving, now is your chance with all the tips right here in this video.
The main equipment you will need is a Dremel or similar hand-held rotary tool. You’ll also need a selection of bits including:
- hard diamond bits
- soft nova bits
- felt tips
- dowel wood bits
